Medical Attention & Insurance
To ensure the health and well being of our camp participants, Spanish in the World provides 24-hour first aid care at all of our camp sites.
If your child has any ongoing medical concerns, special dietary needs, allergies or other special requirements, please let us know in writing when you register your child. If your child is going to bring along his or her own medicine, please include full instructions on its correct use. We also recommend that students carry along a medical report of special needs from their doctors.
International Students
All of our summer camp participants in Spain are covered by a standard health insurance policy; this is included in the price. The summer program does not cover the costs of off-site care or of non-generic medication. If you prefer to purchase an insurance policy with wider coverage, we advise you to do so in your home country.
Spanish Students
It is essential that Spanish students bring a copy of their social security or any private insurance policy they have. They should give these documents to their counselor on the first day of camp.
